Why we ever spend money on cat toys is beyond me. Their absolute favorite is string, tied on the end of a stick. Greg fabricated the nifty toys a year ago, and they are still the favorite. We have two of them, conveniently located upstairs and downstairs. Lately, Lefty has taken to sitting next to them when she wants us to play with her, which is practically all the time. She just sits there quietly, patiently, staring at us. And once one of us picks it up, she goes crazy.


Of course, she also went crazy when we had turkey for dinner tonight.

And Dusty goes crazy for lettuce. And apparently the combination of Q-tips and the bathroom closet just can't be beat.
