Pre-Birthday

The nice thing about having a birthday on a Tuesday?  I'm stretching it out over the course of two weekends.

I made several demands requests for my birthday.  One was a sweet potato cake from my favorite restaurant.  Greg brought it home on Friday night.  The girls spied it and kept asking, "Mommy, will you share your happy birthday?"

I even let them blow out my candles.

(Ever since, when I ask them how old they they I think I am, they tell me I am three.)

One of my other requests was another breakfast trip to IHOP, which we did on Sunday morning.

Man, I love those girls.

Emma and Rebecca went for the chocolate pancake again this time, and Julie went with the regular smiley face pancake she got last time.
