Julie
When EI arrived, all the class was making music with the instruments and having a great time. Shape board - Julie did a great job putting in all the shapes with little help. She was very proud of her accomplishment when done! Farm animal cut outs - she would laugh when EI would "moo for the cow. She would imitate the quack for a duck on her own.
And a special Julie note: She ran from EI when walked in room - and hid in the exersaucer. EI picked her up and was fine when in the hall. No crying! [I ran in to Miss Brittanie when we were picking up the girls today, and she said Julie just took off when it was her turn, and hid in the bottom of the exersaucer. When Miss Catie got her, Brittanie said Julie looked back at her and smiled. This is what we are up against.]
Julie's homework: Make farm animal sounds.
Rebecca
Ms. Eva asked her if she was "wet" and got her to repeat before changing her diaper. EI asked Rebecca for help "up" off the floor and she pulled EI's finger and said "up." Ball - we had fun counting 1-2-3-Go and throwing the ball. She would throw and then run. :) She was very vocal today. When EI sang the Clean Up Song, she "sang" too.
Becca's homework: Practice 1-2-3-Go when throwing the ball or running.
Emma
Emma and the teacher take a walk to the front office - she acted very proud and grown up! Chalk board - Emma would imitate up and down and sideways marks with the chalk. Then she would pretend to give it to EI and then take it back and laugh. Transportation puzzle - EI encourage her to "rrr" and she imitates with a "growl" :)
Emma's homework: Make marks with sidewalk chalk on the driveway.
