Water Park

We had our moms of multiples summer party at a water park in a neighboring county over the weekend. We'd only been to a water park once before, back in May, when we had lots of friends around for extra hands. They were pretty timid back in May, which worked to our advantage.

They were much more excited and less timid this time, which was good and bad. There was a shallow play area for little kids that was much better (age appropriate) than the first one we went to. The floor surface there was textured and looked like sand; the girls kept calling it the "brown water," as opposed to the "blue water" (the deeper water).

There were stairs down from the "brown water" to the "blue water," and Julie seemed to just want to go up and down the stairs. She'd come down and say, "I wanna get out."

I couldn't get a lot of pictures... 3 girls at a water park require quite a bit of attention. But we had a blast, and outlasted most of the other families. And, no sunburn to report!

We tried the lazy river, but we can only take one at a time, and the other two aren't very happy about it. I tried putting two of them in their own tubes, and walking along with them, but it didn't work very well.

They were quite interested in the bigger water slides, and of course in all of the other kids.
