Lefty is apparently having a very hard time waiting for Christmas this year. Greg's parents were here a couple of weeks ago and left a few Christmas gifts for us. We suspect that that's where the ribbon came from, so, after the ribbon incident, we hid the rest of the presents that had ribbon on them (as the ribbon incident wasn't nearly as funny as the floss incident.) (And, the only 3 times that the cats have actually thrown up has been after eating ribbon. We can't buy cat toys with that metallic ribbon on them anymore.)
But we didn't hide all of the presents, and this morning, Lefty found another one small enough for her to carry around in her mouth. Luckily, this one was addressed to her and Dusty. I was sitting here at the computer when I heard her going crazy. She pulled all of the paper off of this cat toy, swatting at Dusty a couple of times when she got close enough to see what the commotion was about. They LOVE the new cat toy. (Thanks, mom and dad!) And Lefty looks awfully proud of herself, doesn't she?
