Birthday Picnic

On Sunday, we packed a picnic and headed to the park.  You know, because we had to keep Aunt Jen and Uncle Elliott entertained.  

It was a bit chillier than we had planned, so we only played for a little while before breaking out our picnic lunch.

"Where's the food?"

Earlier in the day, the girls helped Grandma make some birthday cupcakes for Uncle Elliott's birthday.

After lunch, the girls wanted to run around on the rocks and look for pine cones.  There were lots of trips across the rocks in the stream, which they used to cross hesitantly.  Now they run.

And yes, Becca is wearing a dress and jeans.

They wanted to take off across the grass, but settled for rolling down the hill.

Daddy got in on it, too, which Becca apparently found hysterical.
